the trouble with objects
The more objects you have, the more you need and want. When you move into a new house, you fill it with stuff, and most of it is arbitrary. I spent several hours yesterday looking at throw pillows online. Who needs throw pillows? We do, because our living room is white, grey and birch wood and needs that pop of color. I don't want to be a person who places too much value in objects, but when I discover textile designers like Joel Dewberry and Amy Burton I become completely preoccupied with throw pillows.

I know what you mean about moving stuff into a new place. Actually, I am currently sitting in the living room of my new house, NOT rearranging furniture and all that cause the carpet in my new room is still wet from being shampooed and majorly cleaned. Which is kind of a bummer but I'm looking forward to setting up a new room tomorrow.
