While enjoying the monthly
Los Angeles Art Walk last week, I stumbled upon a wall of almost exclusively black and white collages/paintings that I'm still thinking about after returning to DC. Juxtaposing industrial objects such as windmills and sky scrapers with nature,
Patrick Haemmerlein designs his work fusing photographs of LA (where he currently resides) and of his hometown in upstate New York.
Also bought a real black oak
leaf dipped in gold to wear around my neck.
